“Dear KaraFun” - your questions, our answers

On a daily basis, the KaraFun team receives questions from around the world. While we may not have all the answers (some remain a mystery like who let the dogs out and how many roads must a man walk down), one thing is sure... We know KaraFun really, really well!

In order to answer your most-asked questions, we're launching a short blog series called "Dear KaraFun." Each month, we'll respond on our blog to a user's question to help you get the most out of our apps for your karaoke party.

This month: a question from Nancy in California on how to use KaraFun on multiple devices.


We always use KaraFun on our Windows laptop at home. We’ll be traveling out of state for a family reunion... can we still use KaraFun?



KaraFun can be used on as many devices as you want (laptop, smartphone, tablet). Just download the app to any device and login to your KaraFun account.

Keep in mind that you can only be logged in to one device at a time. Avoid sneaking in practice sessions all at the same time, or sharing your login information with aunts, uncles and cousins, as you may risk getting kicked off if somebody else connects at the same time.

Family reunion in the park and off the grid? If so, consider using offline mode. It means that you'll still be able to sing away with KaraFun even if there's no internet connection.

  • Playlists: In case the fam-bam doesn't quite know what to sing, they'll be sure to find exactly what they are looking for here.
  • Outdoor karaoke: Sing in the great wide open in three easy steps.
  • Remote Access: It's all in the family! Anybody can search from their smartphone or tablet.
