What is Singer Rotation?
Imagine hosting a packed karaoke night. With eager singers and songs piling up, it's easy to lose track.
The Singer Rotation takes care of managing the song order: the software organizes and alternates selections fairly, with no manual intervention. Every participant or group gets their moment to shine, while you stay focused on hosting the event.
How does it work?
- Singer Groups: Assign songs to an individual, a table, or a team.
- Self-signup: Singers can scan the QR code, enter their name, and add songs via their smartphone. No more waiting to see you for sign-ups.
- Automatic Selection: The software automatically determines the singing order.
- Guaranteed Fairness: Those who haven’t sung yet are prioritized, even if others have queued multiple songs.
- Custom View: On their remote, singers only see the songs they've requested.
The result: a lineup that's always updated, balanced, and transparent.
How to enable the feature on Windows?
- Open your KaraFun Windows (v3.8.2 or higher) software.
- On the queue screen, select “Enable Singer Rotation”.
- Existing songs in your queue will be automatically grouped for a seamless transition.
- Switch between:
- Singer Rotation View to enjoy the automated system.
- Classic Queue View for the traditional display.
