KaraFun offers a Parental Control feature on Android to help restrict access to songs with explicit lyrics. This guide explains how to enable and manage parental control settings for a safer karaoke experience.
- Open the app settings and go to "Queue".
- Enable the option for "Parental Control".
- You can also toggle the feature directly on our website under "My account" > "Preferences".
Tips
- To disable Parental Control, go back to your app settings and untoggle the feature. You’ll be asked to enter your KaraFun account password to confirm.
- When enabled, Parental Control will prevent access to community songs.
- Explicit songs will still appear in the catalog with an "E" tag, but they cannot be played.
- If Parental Control is enabled and you try to play an explicit song, a pop-up will appear saying: “This song cannot be added or played. It is considered explicit and Parental Control is activated.”
