Burn Karaoke DVD with 'My DVD Maker'

There are several software options and also many ways to create a karaoke DVD. We've chosen simplicity and have selected this easy tool for creating and burning simple karaoke DVDs (with a chapter menu) from AVI converted files. This tool does not allow as many options as a complete DVD authoring software, but it does offer enough to create simple karaoke DVDs. Again, the purpose is to make life simple!

Moreover, My DVD Maker is one of the cheapest DVD authoring tools available ($32 or about €28). First of all, we advise you to test the product and download the trial version in order to burn your first karaoke DVD.

With KaraFun Studio, you have probably created some AVI files. Here is how to burn your own DVD using these video files.

Select DVD format and output directory To start, select Convert to DVD from the My DVD Maker main window.

The first step is to select the DVD format and output directory.
First, be sure you have a sufficient amount of free space on your hard disk, because the DVD creation process requires a free HDD space.
Next, if you'd like you can change the output directory where the VIDEO_TS DVD directory will be created.
Select PAL or NTSC and specify 4:3 Standard TV.
You may modify the DVD settings if yuo'd like, but the default settings will work as well...
Click on Next when you're ready to add the AVI files.

You can add several AVI files to your DVD. Click on Next to continue.
Edit DVD menu The last step before the DVD creation, is to modify the chapter menu.

You can now rearrange all of the images and any text you wish. At this point you can also change the background.

Click on Next and the DVD creation process will begin.
All of the files will be converted into a DVD format. Many PC DVD players will be able to play the DVD files from your hard drive, but if you want to play them with a home DVD player, you'll need to burn the DVD files (VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS directories) onto a blank DVD-R disc.
