|
|
In testing, KaraFun won't run some of my Chinese MP3s (Error Msg: serious bass...), while WMP, Real Player, and Quicktime could play them without problems.
A closer inspection noted those problematic MP3 all had some spaces in their file names, that KaraFun may have problems reading it correctly and instead substituting with ? in the name.
After revising the filenames by removing the spaces, thus "?" removed from the name, KaraFun was happy to play those MP3 files without problems.
Perhaps, Karafun does not handle doube-byte Chinese unicode? or has problems related to mixed double and single code? |

=================
More Testing Done on this subject:
Karafun certainly does not handle Asian Double-byte characters, at least Chinese characters well.
In Editor/Player modes, Chinese characters are shown on the screen randomly, most not shown at all.
Chinese Characters are shown correctly only in Training Mode. |
