remove vocal effect cancels out audio altogether

Hi I'm using a vista run computer. When I use karafun to remove the vocals from a song It plays perfectly on my headphones. But the same track when played on my speakers mutes the volume altogether when using the vocal remover effect.

Also i would like to know is there a way to record the song after using the vocal recorder effect ?
All I want to do is remove the vocal tracks from a song and record a version of the song. No special effects necessary just an instrumental version.

Is there a way of doing this without using a mic ?

There's no perfect automatic way to remove the vocals.
The best thing to do is to download backing tracks.

And you can't export the modified tracks with KaraFun.
