| is it possible to change the key of a song and then burn that song onto a blank disc in the new key ? |

yes you need different software for editing the songs.
you will need to be using an wav file editor that can adjust
the tempo and the key / octive of the songs.
once that is done then you can redo the songs to the format used in karafun and make your own kfn file
most those editors are costly though. some are free but very old and not on normaly searched web sites because of the age of the software, they also might not work on vista.
some newer free wav editors might be less known but might still do a good job at it with adding volume to the songs.
but you still need to do the editing of them in wav format.
look for wavosuar on majorgeeks.com its free and a good one.
you might beable to get audacity to edit the items you want.
its a little more involved to use but can be done.
