You can't do that without paying a license to Recisio, owner of the KFN format.
(between 10% and 15% of the sellings)

So, if I convert the kfn file to an AVI or MPG movie, and then sell the movie clip file there is no licence fee applicable anymore ?? |

That's the same because you used KaraFun and the KFN files.
