I think it would be great to have mp3s play between karaoke songs. That way there isn't any dead air.
Great software btw!

I bought a USB soundcard and then I have my winamp or whatever software I like to use with a playlist for background music. This means I have one channel on the amp for music constantly playing (I only need to use the volume control for this). The other soundcard I set as the systems default soundcard and karafun can then use this for the karaoke. Then should someone who wants to sing a different song i.e. "oh no I meant the one by such and such a person can I sing that", you still have background noise whilst searching for the song you require.
usb soundcards are so cheap now day so look them up on the web and check a few forums to see which may be best for yourself.
Hope that helps as an idea for a little while. |

| KaraFun plays MP3 files natively. Drag an MP3 into your playlist after the current song, and instead of stopping or pausing, click the "next" button. |
