After upgrading I see the info screen and the background shows up but the music and words do not start and nothing I do will make it start

| I came with same problem...... after upgrade, only welcome screen appear but the program didn't start. |

My Anti Virus software was causing the problem, so I unloaded it to check it out and karafun was ok. I know I need to re-install my AV software and configure it to allow the Karafun package, but my solution may allow you to check if that is what your problem is.
Oh yeah with Vista there is something about User control (forgotten the exact name, but you will be familiar with it), switch it off through control panel and user accounts and you may find that is your problem.
And don't worry if these are solutions that you've gone through from the start, I aint a computer expert, just hoped it may help  |
