Problem starting Karafun under Xp

Karafun starts under WindowsXP home only if you are logged in as an administrator, else you get the message: Echec à la définition des données pour"

This is quite wired.
But, of course, you must have some rights to install and run KaraFun (at least the rigths to read/write to the harddisk and in the registry).

Please explain your procedure under XP.
We'll test it and try to reproduce.
The account that does'nt work is "limited", isn't it?

Thanks for the quick reply,

I've installed Karafun with limited rights. The procedure stops (at my opinion), when the installation wants to write to the registry.
Then I've installed Karafun with "administrator rights". Everything works fine.
If I switch the rights to "limited", Karafun doesn't start anymore.

Why don't you try to run karafun with the "run as" command ?

OK, we confirm that this issue will be fixed in the next release, so it'll be possible to run KaraFun with a limited account.

Hi!
I've installed KaraFun 1.10a and the programm didn't work in the limitied account. Should that problem be fixed in this version?
I know the last post of this thread is from Nov 2005 but I wanted to ask if this problem is solved now?
