error related to Direct3D

I've downloaded directx 9. still i'm not able to run karafun. kindly sugget me something.
i'm using xp

KaraFun needs a graphic card that supports Direct3D.
In some old computers, even with the latest version of DirectX the 3D display can't be done.
So update your drivers, and if it still doesn't work, that means your computer is too old.

Thanx for writing. Though my computer is new still i'm not able to do it. I request you to please forward me the link to download any basic or old version of Karafun, where this 3D not required. I have 9x installed in my system.
