Free - 33 Animated Backgrounds For Karafun

Hi All

I have seen lots of people asking for animated backgrounds to use in Karafun. I hope you like these?

I have created these backgrounds from royalty-free animated loops. This means you can use them without needing to pay.

You can download them from my online storage at Rapidshare. To download simply copy and paste the following link into your browser:

Thanks for that, haven't finished downloading yet but the search for better presets was the reason I came on the forum so yeah thanks again!

They were slow on my graphics card so i exported it as avi and it played fine.

Sorry but I can't set your presets in the free Karafun player.
Whether I should have Karafun Studio to use them?

@bbsing - there should be no problem using this with the free player. do other presets work for you?

Have you made sure you have extracted them to the correct folder (should be Karafun's 'presets' folder (usually found at C:\Program Files\KaraFun\Data\Presets)?

I tried to download the animated backgrounds but I can only download a webpage. What's wrong? When I click on "free user" my GetRight begins to download but it stops at 18 Kb...

Could you help me?

Hi Rita

Sorry for the delay, been on holiday!

Have you tried downloading without using getright? I think getright is only downloading the html page itself, not the file you need?

Try closing getright (make sure it is closed completely and not just minimised to the system tray in your taskbar). Then copy the link and paste it into the location bar of your internet browser, then press enter. When you do this the file should download OK.

Hey dude.

Thanks for the presets. I'd like to say good work but I can't see them. They've been extracted and it's obviously trying to do something as the divx icon appears in the tray. Hmmm, maybe I need a different version of divx or maybe download a codec pack. I'll work it out.

Don't feel too bad about people being rude. Bear in mind you have to join this forum with email, password etc verification before you can say thankyou. Yeh I know it's not much but sometimes I'll look elsewhere for something if I have to join yet another forum. I reckon if they had a 'Post as Guest' button you'd get a lot more thankyou's (and probably a lot of spam Wink

But anyway, thanks all the same, I'm sure they'll be great when I see them. And as a return gift to yourself, I'm a PC technician so send me a PM if you need any advice.....but I suspect you don't as you made the animations yourself.
