All of my CD+G files are named with <DISK-TRACK> - <ARTIST> - <TITLE> and are validated/maintained impeccably. When I tried to use Karafun, it used the MP3 Tags instead of filename to identify tracks. This caused a real mess, as MP3 tags are usually not maintained for CD+G type files (at least mine aren't).
The only way I can get it to work, is to expand "ALL" of my zipped files, use Tage&Rename to populate the MP3 tags, and then rezip "ALL" of them back - a very lengthy process given the many thousands of files I have.
Would it be possible to provide an option where the user could define his/her file naming rules (similar to MP3+G Toolz), and specify which fields are used to populate artist/trackname? |
