Problem, only audio no letters

Hi! i come with this problem (sorry my english) i instale the karafun in two computers, the computer number one is this:

CPU: AMD 3000+
RAM: 512 MB
VIDEO: ATI 9200 PRO
SO: Win XP SP2

The software run very well, i see the letters of the songs and listen the music well, the problem is in the other computer, is a laptop, a HP nc6000 the requeriments of the software are totaly coberts (again sorry my english) the directX work well (i make the test and everything very well) the problem comes wen i run the same CD (original) to the other PC, i listen the music but no see the letters, i see the screen with the flames, or other backgrounds but nothing abaut the letters, someone can help me??

thank's a lot! im so desesperate for help, i make all the sugestions of the FAQ, i check the DLL's (all well) i check the version of the directX (i have the version 10) but nothing.

That's a CD player (hardware) problem.
All CD players can't read the lyrics from the CDG discs.

Thank's for the answer! it's a hardware problem but in the other PC reeds the letter fine, so the `problem is in the CD reader?? or the cd format?? the CD of the laptyop its a DVD reader CD burner (combo) some sugestion?
