I get this error now after updating to the latest version of ATI's Catalyst. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the older Catalyst that came with my video card just to be sure thats what it was. When I did that everything was working normal with Karafun. If anyone has any ideas on a fix please let me know because I really like the Karafun program but I also play games and want the latest drivers as well.
System specs:
Windows XP Pro SP2 (fully updated)
Athlon XP 3000
1.5GB PC2700
Radeon 9700 Pro (Latest Catalyst suite)
ASUS A7N8X 2.0 (Latest driver package from ASUS website)
If any more system information is needed I can provide. |

Display is set at 1440X900 but have tried it on all the other settings (800X600 on up) and the results turn up the same. My monitor is a Acer widescreen using the standard analog plug and standard windows drivers. The program is in windowed mode (default) but I get the error before it comes up.
The player comes up fine where I have the problem is when I try to start a song. Instead of the window with the words to the music I just get the error window and the program halts.
edit: Sorry it took me so long to get back here but work has had me really busy lately. |
