Ripped CDG's request a CD be inserted

When I rip CDG disks to my hard drive and rename the individual files (MP3+CDG), and I attempt to play them, I get an error message requiring me to insert the original disk. I have found that the music still plays, but, CDG portion will not start until I "X" out the error message twice (I believe that it is indicating one for the MP3 and one for the CDG.)

In any case is it possible to physically edit the files to not require the original CD be present? Or, is it something within the configuration of KarFun?

The problem seems to come from the software that you used to rip your CDG disc.

You Indicated that you renamed the files. I hope you realize, the MP3 file and CDG file names "MUST" be identical. Greyhound...
