| Everything seems to work fine, except that the main screen stays up when I close the program and I can't seem to get it to go away. I have tried refreshing the screen. I have tried to change the monitor settings. All to no avail. Any suggestions? |

Are your graphic card drivers updated? _________________ Nico - KaraFun & Karaoke Version team |

| Updating the video drivers were one of the first things I tried. Since I posted the bug I found that the problem is not a screen issue but a KarFun.exe close issue. The program frequently does not close completely. When I view the processes, it is still running. I then kill the process and the main screen goes away. Until they find a solution to my problem I might have to use a kill process program to temporarily solve the problem. In any case I have discovered a work around until a new update. |

I found that my problem was with Direct X, I uploaded the latest version and it caused me more problems than I had, so using my system restore I went back to directx 9.0c instead of ten and the problem went away - of course you may also find the same problem with latest drivers of the video card. basically make sure you create a restore point before installation and at least you can go back if needed.
Heck I've even gone back a version of Karafun at one point to see if this caused the problem.
Hopefully this works for you.
