"A device has been used out of range"

hey guys real new to this great software.. installed and plays cdgs fine... but here's my problem when i go to options and the dialog box opens up... even if i didn't change any settings and click ok i get this error ... 'A device has been used out of range of your system.' please help bc i want to change the output to my tv monitor.. but cant seem to do that bc of the error.. after i click ok it will close out karafun. so i have to restart it again..

You have a faulty or no default midi device, which causes this failure. This will be handled in the next hotfix. Check what is defined as default midi device in the 'sound' options in the Control Panel and try to change it there.
