I have some problems since upgrading to 1.17. For some reason copy-paste doesn't work correctly as it used to. When I copy and paste an event, the newly created event won't work at all. If I select it, the event handling won't appear. If I save the kfn after deleting that strange ghost even, after reloading the file it will reappear.
Another problme is that KaraFun became really slow. Starting the play of a song takes a lot of time compared to in older versions. |

We also found this problem and it will be corrected in the coming hotfix (1.17a). Thanks for pointing this to us.

We'll try to improve the speed of KaraFun in the future, as it may become painful on small configurations.
Could you be a bit more precise in how slower the 1.17 version is ? It is dependant on how what graphic chipset you use, what kind of CPU you have, the amount of memory, the OS etc ... Also important is what kind of file you are using. |

In the 1.16 I could stop and play the music anytime, it started or stopped 'at once'. In the 1.17 if I do the same, it takes like 1-2 sec before starting or stopping and it can be really disturbing.
I have Abit TH7-II 2.8HGz, 1024MB RD Ram and GeForce 6600GT AGP. I'm using KaraFun 1.17 under Windows XP. This slowening occurs in every kfn. |

Hi,
You are far from having a small configuration, and this slowness is not expected behavior.
Does the same thing happen if you jump to a different position while a file is playing ( try forward and backward ) ?
Could you send a startup.log & system informations ( in the about box ) to dev@recisio.com ?

I'm sorry, I already put back an older version (1.6-2) and then I wasn't at home for a week. By now a newer version was reliesed. The problems of the older 1.17 seems to be all solved in it. Thank you!
