I can't set it to take the microphone as input. It's on the dropdown menu, so I select it, click on OK. If I go to options again, I get the same as before: nothing chosen. 
No karaoke on vista!
I've tried running Karafun wtih Administrative Rights, and in compatibility mode with Windows XP SP2. And also with both (Admin rights + XP compatibility). Still no go. |

We are working on this bug due to some Vista changes.
We hope to release a new KaraFun version as soon as possible. |

| Aw man. I just downloaded 1.16, all excited because in the changelog it says that changes were made to support Vista... and I'm still having this very same problem. |

Can you send us your startup log ?
1- Select to generate the log file : Options/Advanced/Create events log file.
2- Restart KaraFun
3- Send the file <...>\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Recisio\KaraFun\startup.log to support@karafun.com

I would love to, but there is no such folder structure in Vista. Running a search for "Recisio" yields nothing.
The closest thing there is to a \documents and settings\..\application data is: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\
but there's nothing Karafun in there 
*EDIT: Lies! I found it. It's at C:\ProgramData\Recisio\KaraFun, fyi Emailing the log file right now, thanks! |

I have the version 1.16 of KaraFun and it don´t want open and I don´t know what´s happen.
I have a Core Duo 1.83Ghz, portable HP Pavilion dv 2000 with Windows Vista
The startup log:

20-06-2007,12:14:50,Load Localization File [Português (Brazilian)]
20-06-2007,12:14:51,Open Play Database

I have now another computer HP Pavilion dv 2000 portable, core duo, with windows vista and the Karafun is OK 
The other portable i had sale.
